Thessbike is one of the largest private providers of shared and rented bicycles in Greece. Thessbike owns and manages the shared bicycle system in the Municipality of Thessaloniki, with a system of eight stations and 200 bicycles. The fleet also includes children’s bicycles for rent, two-seated and four-seated family bicycles, electrical bicycles and scooters. In addition to managing shared bicycle systems and renting any type of bike to individuals, Thessbike organizes cycling events in partnership with organizations/associations/companies and tourist bicycle tours in collaboration with certified guides. In collaboration with the certified body from the Ministry of Education and the Institute of Educational Policy, we participate in an educational program of teaching how to ride a bicycle to primary and secondary school students. The purpose of Thessbike is to establish the bicycle as the main means of transportation. In fact, in May 2014 the company was awarded at TRANSPORT & LOGISTICS AWARDS for the initiatives it took in relation to sustainable mobility in the city of Thessaloniki while a similar award was achieved in 2019 in the Business Excellence of the Professional Chamber of Thessaloniki.
