Thessbike is currently one of the largest private providers of shared and rental bicycles in Greece. Thessbike owns and operates the public bike-sharing system in the Municipality of Thessaloniki. The system includes 8 stations and 200 bicycles. The Thessbike fleet also offers a wide range of rental options, including children's bicycles, two-seater and four-seater family bikes, electric bicycles, and scooters.
In addition to managing shared bicycle systems and renting all types of bicycles to individuals, Thessbike organizes cycling activities in collaboration with organizations, associations, companies, and groups, as well as guided cycling tours in cooperation with certified tour guides. Furthermore, in collaboration with a certified organization approved by the Ministry of Education and the Institute of Educational Policy, we participate in an educational program for teaching cycling to primary and secondary school students.
The goal of Thessbike is to establish cycling as a primary means of transportation. In May 2014, the company was awarded at the TRANSPORT & LOGISTICS AWARDS for its initiatives related to sustainable mobility in the city of Thessaloniki, and it received a similar distinction in 2019 at the Business Excellence Awards of the Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce.
