Educational cycling activities for schools
Thessbike, in collaboration with the non-profit organization Fysis Outdoor Exercise, has created an educational program approved by the Institute of Educational Policy and the Ministry of Education, which supports the use of bicycles.
Στόχος του προγράμματος είναι η εκμάθηση των βασικών γνώσεων για τη χρήση του ποδηλάτου και η επαφή κι εξοικείωση με το ποδήλατο, ώστε να καθιστούν τη χρήση του ασφαλή. Επιπρόσθετα, μέσω αυτού αναδεικνύεται η σημασία της συστηματικής χρήσης του ποδηλάτου, ως ένα μέσο διατήρησης και βελτίωσης της υγείας που καταπολεμά την αδράνεια και την υποκινητικότητα στην παιδική ηλικία.
Το εκπαιδευτικό πρόγραμμα περιλαμβάνει θεωρητικές και πρακτικές γνώσεις για την μετακίνηση με το ποδήλατο, βοηθώντας τα παιδιά μέσω της βιωματικής εκπαίδευσης να κατανοήσουν τον τρόπο σωστής συμπεριφοράς μέσα στους δρόμους της πόλης.
